I don't think you can fix this Joe. *knock on the door* Joe: Come in... *Kevin, Nick, Jessica, Ryan, and Kiwi walk in* Ryan:Okay. Does anyone know why Kelly is bawling her eyes out? Joe:It couldn't be the fact that she dumped me because everyone except Maddie forgot her birthday was today. Nick: Aw God. I feel like a jerk. we should go talk to her... Ryan: Yeah...Hey guys, how about we have a surprise party the same day as the one we're th--*Maddie slaps him in the mouth* OUCH! I need to talk to Joe. *the group agrees to leave Joe and Kevin alone. Kevin pulls up a chair next to Joe* Joe: I'm such an idiot! Kevin: (hugs Joe) Joe, Kelly must be really upset. I mean she told me her Mom died on her birthday. Joe: WHAT?! (shocked) I knew she was over-reacting a little bit....so it was 3 years ago, today? Kevin: Yeah. Joe: How come she told you and not me? I'm her b- I mean, I WAS her boyfriend. Kevin: Because, once, when everyone was sleeping, I heard her crying and talking in her sleep. So, I woke her up and she told me the story. Joe: I need to talk to her. *gets up* In Kelly's room *Joe walks in while Kelly doesn't notice and continues to blast her stereo* Joe: (turning down radio) Happy Birthday. Kelly: It's anything but happy. Joe" I'm sorry. About me forgetting, and your Mom. Kelly: (sniffling) Who told you about my Mom? Joe: Kevin. Can you tell me exactly what happened? Kelly: fine...*takes a breath* 3 years ago, today, it was my 10th birthday and Courtney had thrown me a HUGE party. We were running low on soda, so me and Courtney kept begging her to go out and buy more. She finally did, and (starting to cry really hard) never came back! A drunk guy ran a red light! Joe: *hugs her for a long time* Kel... Kelly: (crying) It's all my fault she's g-gone! Joe: (holding her) Not it's not. You can't blmae this all on yourself. Kelly: I'm s-sorry I broke up with you. Nick: Hello beautiful...would you like to go on a date tonight? Kiwi: I'm sorry...my friend really needs me...I can't. How about tomorrow night? Nick: (disappointed) Okay....I understand. Kiwi: Hey. Look at me. *Nick looks up and Kiwi kisses him. Nick kisses her more intensely, and Kiwi feels his tongue trying to slip into her mouth and she lets him, Soon, she backs away.* Kiwi: I've got to go. Her friend is really depressed...so, I'm bored. Kelly: Well go bother Maddie and Ryan. Nick: And what? Get grossed out by a makeout fest?! No thank you.
